Introduced late 2018 for a research project, Pattern is a soundesign and loop music work. It’s all about the repetitive patterns we can hear in places where people exercise. This is my first experiment.

According to each sport, it can either be a collective or an individual performance. Every person excercising has a different level and therefore a different rythm which creates a sound conflict know as polyrythm.

I first recorded sounds in several places like swimming pools, skate parks, bowlings and at the gym focusing on repetitive movements and their reverbaration in space. After recording it, I select samples and try to create music loops with Logelloop.

All the loops are made in this software created by two musicians and developers from Bretagne. A special thanks to Philippe Ollivier for advising and supporting me.. Thanks to my classmates, teachers, family and of course, friends.
